The PAE is a dualistic project consisting of the Percussion Art Ensemble and Perkussiv Arts Elektronik.

Percussion Art Ensemble

The Percussion Art Ensemble (founded in 2001 by Ron Coulter, Nathan Douds, and Craig Hill) is a percussion trio devoted to the development of the arts through live music performance and education. The group’s various performance and educational programs provide persons of all ages, interests, and backgrounds the opportunity to heighten their arts experience and comprehension. The Percussion Art Ensemble illuminates the importance of art in our everyday lives through singularly engaging, thought-provoking discussion, demonstration, and performance.

Perkusiv Arts Elektronik

The Perkusiv Arts Elektronik (founded in 2005 by Ron Coulter) is an ongoing series of sound events exploring the performance of existing, and the creation of new, electro-acoustic music; including sixty-nine world premiers to date and more than a dozen interdisciplinary collaborators.
